We started this idea we has about the farm back in 2009, but it wasn’t until the fall of 2017 through our friend Erin that we were able to realize our ideas into what we have today. Erin set us on a path to incorporate hydroponics on our farm and a way to eventually make a full time income off the farm. We started the long process of paperwork and funding. We got the go ahead late Spring 2018 and were able to start building in June. Off the bat we started with a major setback as the contractors who were supposed to build the greenhouse backed out out leaving us with little choice to build it ourselves. With the help of many friends, family and a few contractors we were able to build the greenhouse. We broke ground June 2018 and finished the build February 2019.
